Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Deployableme ("we", "us") collects when you visit deployableme.com, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We keep collection to what we need to run and improve the site.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you use the contact form or sign up for our newsletter, we receive what you type: usually your name, email address and message. We use it to reply to you or send the newsletter you asked for.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our server and the services below record technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device, pages visited, referring page and the time of your visit. We use this to keep the site secure, fix errors and understand which articles are useful.

Cookies

Cookies are small files stored by your browser. We use them for analytics and advertising, as described below. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site still works without them, though some ads may be less relevant.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site in aggregate: which pages are read, how people arrive and roughly where they are. Google processes this data under its own privacy policy. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on or by blocking analytics cookies.

Advertising through Revive Adserver

Ads on this site are delivered through Revive Adserver. The ad server may set cookies or read basic technical data to deliver ads, limit how often you see the same one and count impressions and clicks. Advertisers who appear through it may have their own policies.

Newsletter form provider

Our newsletter signup form is hosted by a third-party CRM provider (Sphere CRM, served from link.sphere-crm.com). When you submit the form, your details go to that provider so we can manage the list. Every newsletter includes a way to unsubscribe.

Headlines and links to other sites

Some pages show headlines from other publishers, fetched by our own server. Clicking one takes you to that publisher's site, which has its own privacy practices. We aren't responsible for how other sites handle your data.

How long we keep data

We keep contact messages as long as needed to handle your request and a reasonable time afterwards. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is kept according to the retention settings of the analytics provider.

Your rights

If you're in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, the GDPR gives you the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal data, to object to processing, and to data portability. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

If you're a California resident, the CCPA gives you the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We don't sell personal information for money. We won't treat you differently for using these rights.

Residents of other regions may have similar rights under local law, and we'll honor reasonable requests wherever you are.

Children

This site is written for working professionals and isn't directed at children under 16. We don't knowingly collect their data.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle data, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
