About Deployableme
Why this site exists
Most deployment advice falls into two camps. There's the five-minute tutorial that ends when the app loads once, and there's documentation that assumes you already run a cluster. Most developers live between the two. They have a working app, a deadline, and a nagging feeling that pushing to production should involve more than hoping.
Deployableme exists for that gap. Our working rule is printed at the bottom of every page: if you cannot deploy it safely, monitor it, and recover it, it is not really finished.
Who it's for
Web and software developers, freelancers and agencies shipping client sites, SaaS teams without a dedicated platform group, sysadmins, WordPress developers, and anyone learning production deployment for the first time. Readers in the US, UK, Canada, Australia, Europe, South Asia, Southeast Asia and the Middle East run into the same problems, so we write in plain English and flag anything that depends on region or provider.
What we cover
- Application Deployment: moving code from local to staging to production, and back out when needed.
- DevOps: habits and tooling for small teams that own what they run.
- CI/CD: pipelines that test what matters before a release goes out.
- Production Readiness: backups, alerts, SSL, logs and rollback plans.
- Docker: images and builds that behave the same everywhere.
- Containers: running containers on real servers, up to Kubernetes.
Everything we publish lands in Ready To Ship, our blog.
How articles are written and checked
Every article answers four questions: what are we changing, why does the step exist, what can break, and how do we verify and undo it. Commands and config examples are checked against current official documentation before publishing, and we note the version when behavior depends on it.
We don't publish destructive scripts without context, we never suggest committing secrets to source control, and our examples are meant for systems you own or are authorized to run. When we get something wrong, we fix the article and note the correction. Send corrections through the contact page.
