Who reads the site

Our readers are people who ship software and then have to live with it: web and backend developers, DevOps engineers, freelancers and agencies, SaaS teams, sysadmins and technical founders. Many are responsible for production without having a platform team behind them. They read to make decisions about hosting, pipelines, containers, monitoring and backups.

We're a new publication, so we won't quote traffic numbers we can't show you. Ask and we'll share current figures from our analytics directly.

• Square, 300×250. In sidebars and inside article pages after the opening.
• Skyscraper, 160×600. Sticky in the desktop sidebar.
• Sponsored articles. Written to our editorial standard and clearly labeled as sponsored at the top of the page.

Editorial independence

Advertisers don't see articles before they're published, and buying an ad doesn't buy coverage or a recommendation. Sponsored articles carry a visible label, and our own articles never pretend to be neutral when they aren't.

We don't accept ads for tools that encourage unauthorized access, scare-marketing security products, or hosting offers built on claims we can't verify. If a product would be a bad fit for a developer's production system, it's a bad fit for our pages too.
